Do you offer Invisalign?

We offer clear aligner therapy but are not contracted with Align Corporation (the company behind Invisalign). Invisalign is a brand name, like Kleenex. Every major dental lab offers clear aligners. We select our aligner systems for clinical performance, not brand deals. Without a corporate contract dictating case selection, pricing, and workflow, we have more options to treat your case the way we believe it should be treated.

Do you offer Invisalign?

We have no relationship with the Align Corporation, the company behind Invisalign. Invisalign is a brand name, not a unique technology. Multiple manufacturers produce clear aligners with equivalent materials and results. We choose the system that fits your case best, not the one a corporate partner pays us to use.

It depends on how far the teeth have to move. Minor crowding or relapse after previous orthodontics can be corrected in a few months, while more involved cases take a year or more. You are given a projected timeline with your treatment plan, before you commit to anything.

Around 20 to 22 hours, taking them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush. This is the one part of treatment entirely in your hands. Aligners left in a drawer do not move teeth, and inconsistent wear is the most common reason treatment runs long.

For most cases, yes. Fixed braces remain more predictable for significant rotations, substantial vertical movement, and complex bite corrections. Dr. Kary will tell you if your case is one where aligners would be a compromise rather than an equivalent option.

Expect pressure and tenderness for a day or two after switching to a new tray, which is the teeth responding as intended. It is generally milder than the soreness that follows a braces adjustment. There are no brackets or wires to irritate the cheeks and lips.

Water only. Food will damage the trays, and coffee, tea, wine, and anything else pigmented will stain them. Take them out to eat, brush before putting them back in, and keep the case with you so they do not end up wrapped in a napkin.

Yes, and this is not optional. Teeth drift back toward their original positions, and retention is what makes the result permanent. Retainers are made here from a digital scan at the end of treatment.

Yes. We treat teens with clear aligners, and for many the appearance and the absence of monthly wire adjustments matter a great deal. Success does depend on wearing them consistently, so it works best when the teen is genuinely on board rather than being signed up.

Many plans include an orthodontic benefit, often as a lifetime maximum dollar amount rather than a percentage, and some limit it by age. We verify what your plan allows and give you a written estimate. Financing through Cherry and Sunbit is available if you would rather spread the cost.
